You can also ARM the codec when playback is stopped, so that codecs will start writing

the instant you start host playback. Likewise, stopping playback will terminate the writing

procedure. Record duration and exact data compression ratios are displayed (see

screenshot above).

Press the FILENAME FORMAT button to view the ﬁlename format pop-over window. This

allows the user to specify the destination folder for the recorded ﬁles and the output

ﬁlename elements.

The ﬁlename can be composed of elements including codec type, bit rate and date of

recording. It is possible to re-order these elements to form a ﬂexible and informative

ﬁlename. This can be done by clicking on any element within the complete string and
